Support us

Your gift doesn't fund one home. It funds a cycle.

Because residents repay their homes and every repayment funds the next one, a donation to Rehome Roots keeps housing people long after it is given.

Other ways to help

Not everything useful is money.

Some of the most valuable support we have had did not come as a donation.

Host land

Unused land is the single biggest constraint on how many homes we can place. If you have space, it is worth a conversation — we fund and manage everything on it.

Corporate partnership

Trades, suppliers, transport, insurance, legal and accounting support all reduce what each placement costs us. We can also structure sponsorship that meets your CSR reporting.

Leave a gift in your will

A bequest to Rehome Roots funds homes in perpetuity, because the rent-to-buy model recycles the capital rather than spending it once.

Donate goods or services

Building materials, appliances, solar, water tanks, earthworks, transport. If you supply something a home needs, we can use it.

Where your donation goes

Rehome Roots exists to put people in homes. Donations fund the homes themselves, the engineering and certification that makes them legal to live in, site preparation and connection, and the insurance and maintenance we carry for the life of each placement.

We publish our governing documents, including our constitution and financial management policies, on our governance page. Our registration can be verified independently on the ACNC Charity Register.

As a registered charity we report to the ACNC each year. As we grow, our annual reporting will be published here alongside the number of homes placed and people housed — real figures, dated, not estimates.

A note on Heartland Homes Project

Heartland Homes Project Pty Ltd is a separate company founded by our chairperson. It sells expandable homes and runs a licensed trade promotion, and donates a share of its profits to Rehome Roots under a written donation agreement. It is a funding source, not a part of this charity — the two organisations have separate finances, and donations made here go to Rehome Roots.
